FIT THIRTY ONE

I've had a bunch of conversations with friends on set and off lately about how much joy shooting film again is bringing me. Bringing a 4x5 into the city, shooting portraits, my Hassleblad having a permanent space in my camera bag again. It's all little bits that make me feel very excited about making photographs again.

I'm pretty aware of the fact that I'm able to shoot film again because of working in the *film* industry. It's expensive, more so than when I was in school even. But it's also the closest thing to magic I've ever really experienced. I miss the darkroom for the final part, seeing the print literally materialize in front of you.
