FIT TWELVE
So here I am. I made a couple silly promises to myself this year. One, that I’d set aside at least 30 minutes each day for being creative and writing, drawing or prepping photos for this blog again. The other, was that any new photography gear I wanted this year, I had to bring in the money from photography. And that, was maybe a hard promise to make. Photography gear is pretty expensive.
All that is to say, I REALLY want some new gear. A short list of a new lens for birding and a new body is like, it’s a lot. Anyways. I’m in the middle of testing prints. Finding the paper I like, figuring out turnaround time and how much shipping would cost. I’m also hoping I’ll be able to find some places locally here in Squamish and hopefully in Vancouver that might want to put some on their wall.
I’m hoping to hit the price point of $135 for a print that fits into a 16x20 inch frame with about 1 inch of white around the print. For $200 it would be in a nice black wood frame. I’m hoping to have some seasonal offerings, but really I could make prints of any of the photos I’ve taken.
The hard part for me to wrap my head around is going to be how the hell to reach a wider audience. Do I play the Instagram game? Do I hashtag the bullshit out of everything I post? I don’t want to. But, I also want some new camera stuffs and to make more photographs into real life prints.
Anyways, if y’all want some prints, reach out! It can be anything!
